DG Research & Innovation Policy Event (R&I) European Commission – 18, February in Brussels
- January 16, 2025
Youth-GEMs will be featured on the agenda at the upcoming DG Research and Innovation (R&I) policy event hosted by the European Commission. The event aims to support the transfer of promising practices—implementable research results—from EU-funded R&I projects focused on promoting mental health and preventing or treating mental disorders.
This presents an excellent opportunity for our consortium to connect with policymakers and representatives from other research projects.
The event will consist of six sessions, each starting with a 5-minute introduction to relevant policy developments, followed by presentations from three R&I projects showcasing their promising practices.
The sessions will address a wide range of topics, including:
- Addressing psychosocial risks at work
- Enhancing the mental health of children and young people, supporting those most in need
- Strengthening mental health systems
- Improving access to treatment and care
- Exploring the role of arts and culture in promoting well-being and inclusion,
- and advancing our understanding and treatment of mental disorders.
Our Youth-GEMs representatives will present a pitch, followed by audience reactions and a guided discussion. The day will conclude with feedback from rapporteurs and closing remarks.
